For SaaS companies with a REST API
Make your API usable from Claude in about 5 business days.
Give customers using Claude or Cursor a way to plug your product into their AI workflow. We build an MCP server around your existing API, with a written scope and code you own.
Email your API docs to gus@nolu.ai
Starter: US$1,500 · Standard: US$3,000, about 7–10 business days · No calls required.
In short: NOLU Consulting is an AI consultancy in Culiacán, Mexico, founded by Gustavo Aispuro, AI Solutions Architect. It builds fixed-price MCP servers that connect a SaaS REST API to Claude and other MCP clients: Starter US$1,500 (about 5 business days, up to 10 tools) and Standard US$3,000 (about 7–10 business days, up to 25 tools, OAuth 2.1). To start, email your API docs to gus@nolu.ai and get a tool list and fixed price in writing within 1 business day. NOLU is a Certified Services Partner in the Claude Partner Network, tier Certified.

What an MCP server would look like for specific products: tools, auth and setup.
How it works
01 / SEND YOUR DOCS
Start with an email
Send your API docs link and the top 3–5 workflows your customers want AI to handle.
02 / CONFIRM IN WRITING
Agree on tools and price
Within 1 business day, we reply with a proposed tool list and fixed price. Approve in writing and pay the 50% deposit through a Stripe payment link.
03 / BUILD & HANDOVER
Receive working code
Day 0: docs and deposit. Day 1: tool list confirmed. Build on days 2–5 or 2–9, with a midway written progress note. Handover starts your 3-business-day review.
Timing assumes required access and answers within 1 business day. Scoping, progress updates, and acceptance all happen in writing.
A clear scope. A fixed price.
Both tiers use TypeScript and the official MCP SDK. Delivery includes a private GitHub repository you own.

What you provide
- API documentation, ideally an OpenAPI specification
- A sandbox/test account and API key, shared through a secret-sharing link or invitation. Never email production secrets.
- Your top 3–5 customer workflows
- A technical contact who answers questions within 1 business day
- For Standard: OAuth app/client credentials or access to configure them, and hosting account access
Acceptance & ownership
Every tool on the agreed written list must work against your sandbox from Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and MCP Inspector. Automated tests must pass. Install docs must reproduce a working setup on a clean machine. No secrets belong in the repository.
For Standard, the OAuth sign-in flow must complete from Claude and the remote endpoint must be live on your domain/account.
You have 3 business days to review. Reported defects within scope are fixed free; if no defects are reported within that window, the work is accepted. You own the code.

Questions, answered
What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol is a standard for connecting AI applications to tools and data. Your server exposes agreed API actions as tools an MCP client can use.
Which clients can use the server?
Claude Desktop, claude.ai connectors, Claude Code, Cursor, and ChatGPT/other MCP-capable clients, subject to each client’s transport, authentication, and account capabilities. We confirm the intended setup in writing; install docs cover Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and Cursor.
How are security and secrets handled?
Use a sandbox account and share credentials through a secret-sharing link or invitation, never production secrets by email. No secrets go into the repo. Starter uses API-key/token auth; Standard adds MCP-spec OAuth 2.1 authorization for individual user accounts.
Who owns the code?
You do. We deliver the TypeScript server, tests, and documentation in a private GitHub repository you own.
What if our API changes?
Optional US$300/month maintenance covers API/MCP specification updates, dependency/security updates, endpoint monitoring, and up to 2 hours of small changes monthly. Larger changes are quoted in writing before work.
